Bixori-P tablet contains etoricoxib and paracetamol. It is a selective COX-2 inhibitor. Cyclo-oxgenase-2 inhibitor plays a major role in joint inflammation and pain. Etoricoxib produces its pharmacological action by inhibiting COX-2. It also possesses anti-arthritic property. Paracetamol is analgesic and anti-pyretic drug which produces anti-inflammatory action by inhibiting COX-2.
